I’m Ola and the person behind Go Restless. I grew up in Germany and spent time during my studies in International Business Administration in Germany, the UK and Hong Kong– a city I totally fell in love with. I’m always excited to meet new people and learn about their culture – and of course to try as much local food as possible!
I want to see more of the world, try new exotic food and learn about other cultures. I love green tea lattes, avocados, red painted nails– and cats of course!

Why I travel
Exploring new places and cultures makes me feel alive. As child I didn’t travel much, but after booking my first trip to Paris I got totally hooked on exploring new places and food. I am constantly challenging myself to leave my comfort zone and to try out new things. Traveling gave me the opportunity to connect with people from different countries and I learned life long lessons from them. Living abroad in Hong Kong and Cambridge showed me how much more there is in live to explore and that we should constantly challenge ourselves. Traveling can teach you much more about life than any classroom can ever.

The way I travel
So many people say “pick a niche” gees… what can I say? The way I travel varies from traveling alone to traveling with friends, also the places I stay differ in price (from 4 star hotels, B&Bs to hostel rooms). I don’t think I’m going to commit to a certain travel style any soon. I am flexible the way I travel and quite spontaneous, always looking for cool things to see, to eat or to try.

On this blog
I want to share my travel experiences and tips and thoughts on things that are also unrelated to travel. If you have any specific question about me or the blog – head over to the contact form 🙂
